R&D - custom

electronics development

We develop electronics from concept to certified product. We optimize design and costs while maintaining top-tier quality.

Prototyping with an emphasis on serial manufacturability

We validate technical parameters, fine-tune firmware, and prepare the product for certification testing. This minimizes risks before entering final production.

Development of custom testing equipment

We develop and implement complex testing systems as a guarantee of 100% quality. We perform multi-stage inspections ranging from In-Circuit Testing (ICT) and Boundary Scan to final Functional Testing (FCT). Every solution is delivered fully certified, including a detailed description of tests and coverage.

Comprehensive certification support

We perform pre-compliance tests during the development phase. We identify potential electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) issues, thereby eliminating expensive redesigns and repeated testing in accredited laboratories. We save you both time and development costs.

Get started with us

01

Online concept analysis

We provide a non-binding assessment of design quality, manufacturability, and production profitability.
02

Experience-driven optimization

Free expert DFM/DFT analysis: We verify all documentation through the lens of real-world manufacturing conditions.
03

Functional prototype in hand within 4 weeks

We produce a technologically proven prototype on our production lines, guaranteeing readiness for a smooth transition to serial production.
04

NPI and serial production ramp-up (6–8 weeks)

We transfer the verified design into serial production. We fine-tune the manufacturing process, approve the first serial units, and set the conditions for stable, repeatable production.

Our technological facilities – from design to serial production

Our expertise covers the entire spectrum of embedded solutions for the automotive, home appliance, and industrial automation sectors. We have a team of specialists in hardware, software, and manufacturing technologies. We manage the entire technological development and production process.

Embedded systems and connectivity

We cover hardware design, advanced connectivity (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), and high computing power on the Embedded Linux platform.

Design tools

We design in Altium Designer and KiCAD using manufacturing rules directly from our lines – DFM is part of the design from the first step, not just at the end.

Prototyping

We manufacture development prototypes in individual units with manual assembly within 3 days (depending on complexity and upon delivery of materials and assembly documentation).

Partnership

Collaboration with CEITEC and BUT Brno allows us access to research capacities and advanced technologies.

Technology for demanding applications

We produce Chip on Board sample series – direct mounting of a bare chip onto the board with wire bonding and Glob Top or Dam and Fill protection. For applications requiring miniaturization or non-standard packaging.

FAQ

Answers to frequently asked questions about electronics development

At what stage of development is it best to involve your R&D department?

Ideally, as early as the concept or schematic phase. The sooner we get involved, the more effectively we can implement DfM (Design for Manufacturing) and DfT (Design for Testing) principles. Early consultation on PCB layout and component selection can significantly reduce manufacturing costs and prevent costly modifications in later project phases.

Can you propose replacements for unavailable or obsolete components?

Yes, our R&D department has a team of component engineers who monitor the lifecycle of components. We propose functional equivalents (pin-to-pin replacements) or, if necessary, redesign parts of the board to ensure long-term production availability even during crises in the semiconductor market.

What does your DfM (Design for Manufacturing) analysis include?

We perform a detailed review of your data (Gerber, ODB++), focusing primarily on:
• Component spacing and orientation for optimal soldering.
• Solder pads and mask design in relation to the selected technology (wave, reflow, selective soldering).
• The efficiency of board panelization for smooth production process flow and minimization of material waste.
• Critical areas that could cause defects during assembly.

Can you help us prepare the product for certification (CE, FCC, UL, EMC, RoHS)?

Of course. Our engineers have experience designing devices to meet these standards and ensure safety. We can arrange for the production of prototypes intended for testing in accredited laboratories.

How do you manage the transition from the prototype phase to mass production (NPI)?

The NPI (New Product Introduction) process is managed by our R&D team in collaboration with production. Every project undergoes a testing phase, after which we prepare a detailed report. We fine-tune production fixtures, define testing procedures, and establish process parameters to ensure that mass production runs smoothly, with high yield and consistent quality.
